Blanks are Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel, which meets the MIL-B-11595E spec (“machine gun grade”). These same blanks are used in current US military issue rifles. Blanks are both thermal and vibration stress relieved, prior to machining.
M4 feed ramp barrel extensions.
Button Rifled for accuracy, in 1/7” twist, best for stabilizing heavier bullets, like the 62 gr M885 ball and the 77 grain Mk 262 ammunition.

11° target crown, standard 1/2 – 28 threads.
Chrome-lined for longer barrel life, parkerized.
Mid-length gas system, for more reliability. Gas block OD has a set-screw dimple for ease of locating and securing your gas block.
Contour under the handguard is medium-heavy before fluting, resulting in a barrel nearly as stiff as a target barrel, but as light as a medium contour.
